Emprise appoints industry veteran COO

~ 24 years of industry experience will ensure smooth running of business ~

Emprise Services has appointed Michael Garrett as COO, drawing on his 24 years of experience in the waste management, pest control and cleaning sectors. The support services company, whose clients include the Delfont Mackintosh Theatre Group, the Intercontinental Park Lane and many other prestigious blue chip clients, has appointed Michael to oversee business procedures across all divisions and implement changes to benefit the company's existing customer base.

Michael - who will work from Emprise's business support office at City Road - will be responsible for Emprise's Divisional Managing Directors in his new role. He will ensure that they are working to the same goals to achieve a uniformed service across all fields that Emprise operates in.

Michael joined Emprise nine years ago from a background at ISS and OCS. His promotion comes at the same time as that of Alison Burrows, now Finance Director, and Martyn Crowfoot as CFO. Lesley Shearman and Richard Webster have also moved up the ranks to become Divisional Managing Directors, and the company is recruiting for a Managing Director of its Corporate Division.
"The latest promotions and Michael's new role reflect a busy time for the business," said Stephen Barrett, Chairman at Emprise. "Michael will bring a fresh operational perspective to the company, which is slightly removed from everyday activity. I believe the experience he brings to the role will add continued strength to our organic growth."

"As one of the largest independent support service providers, Emprise offers exciting prospects for both customers and employees," said Michael Garrett, COO at Emprise. "I will be looking to raise awareness of the company in the sectors which include our current core offerings of cleaning and security to many top brand clients, also specialising in leisure and retail."

"My goal is also to continue the company's growth, and look into new avenues that would complement the business - it's a dynamic time for the industry," he added.
