Emprise hires industry specialist as divisional head

~ brings 29 years of facilities knowledge on board ~

Emprise Services plc has appointed Ian Whittingham as Divisional Managing Director of its corporate/commercial division. Based at the company's support offices in City Road, London, Whittingham will be responsible for coordinating the corporate and commercial division, and managing a team of almost 3,000 employees.

Emprise, whose clients include Berwin Leighton Paisner and DTZ, will be drawing on Whittingham's 29 years in the industry. His most recent role as Managing Director at Initial Integrated Service (IIS) included full P&L responsibility of a £40 million-plus, UK-wide facilities services business. There, he was directly responsible for the management, development and welfare of over 3,000 personnel.

"Ian joins us with a diverse background and an in-depth knowledge of the facilities industry. These will prove to be a great asset to Emprise," said Michael Garrett, Chief Operating Officer at Emprise. "His previous customer relations experience fits well with the direction of the business and our drive to raise awareness of Emprise as a cleaning and security expert."
