Alison Burrows, Finance Director
Alison is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001. Alison spent five years working with Smith & Williamson within their Audit and Business Services Division. In January 2004 Alison joined Emprise as Financial Controller and following the restructuring of our business in May 2007 Alison was appointed Finance Director.

Martyn Crowfoot, Chief Finance Officer
Martyn is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales having qualified in 1993 with Ernst & Young. Following qualification, Martyn spent eight years with Andersen's UK corporate finance team advising both corporates and individuals on a range of mergers and acquisitions including the restructuring of Emprise in 1995. Martyn joined Emprise in September 2002 as Finance Director and was appointed as Chief Finance Officer in May 2007.

Michael Garrett, Chief Operating Officer
Michael joined Emprise in January 1999 as Operations Director. He brought over sixteen years industry experience to the business having held a variety of operational and company administrative roles with ISS and OCS. In May 2007 he was appointed Managing Director of our Corporate Division and in December 2007 Michael was appointed as Chief Operating Officer, assuming responsibility for Emprise's Divisional Managing Directors. His role is to ensure that they work to the same goals and to achieve a uniformed service across all the sectors in which Emprise operates.

Lesley Shearman, Managing Director - Retail and Leisure
Lesley joined Emprise in October 2002 as Commercial Director. She brought over eighteen years experience to the business having spent eleven years with MITIE in a variety of senior management roles, culminating in the role of Commercial Director. Previously, she worked as a consultant with Cleaning Research International and within the Domestic Services Management division of the NHS. Following the restructuring of our business in May 2007, Lesley was appointed as Managing Director with overall responsibility for the Retail and Leisure division.

James Walker, Sales & Marketing Director
James joined Emprise in July 2008 as Sales and Marketing Director. He brought with him over 19 Years Sales and Marketing experience in specialist support services. Previous roles include Group Sales and Marketing Director at Iron Mountain Europe, Commercial Director at Hays Information Management together with time spent as Managing Director for UK and European Business Units. In all these roles the Companies experienced high growth through a strategic combination of acquisitions and the implementation of strong professional sales teams.

Ian Whittingham, Managing Director - Corporate and Commercial
Ian joined Emprise in April 2008 as Managing Director. He brought over 20 years experience in the Facilities Industry having held a variety of operational and management roles in the UK, Europe and the USA. Ian has significant experience in developing and managing multi-activity contracts; further developed over the last 5 years in his previous role of Managing Director at Initial Integrated Services. Ian is passionate about maintaining and improving service delivery at every opportunity and strives to develop effective relationships with clients to improve customer satisfaction.
